In the room were two projects dealing with issues around queerness, gender and sexuality. The purpose was visibility and representation of queer people and providing a space for queer people's stories and experiences.
The room should be a safe space for people who are affected by discrimination. While one project validated the experiences of queer people and created bonding through emotional connections, the back part of the room provided a cosy feel-good atmosphere where acceptance and a sense of safety could be found.
